
Germander (Teucrium Chamaedris) has a history of medicinal uses and is used in the manufacture of liqueurs, vermouths, and tonic wines. It's most frequent use is as a small evergreen ornamental hedge in formal herb gardens. Germander will grow in almost any soil as long as it is well drained. Takes little water to keep green, blooms in summer a purple blossom.
