Step-Down Hitch

This step-down hitch lowers the hitching point for the mower by approximately 6 feet. We have discovered the ideal height of the tractor end of the mower tongue should not exceed 10 1/2" above the ground. Higher than 10 1/2" begins to decrease the patented traction design benefit. The mower tongue can be lower, but preferably not higher than 10 1/2". The double end attaches to the tractor with a hitch pin, the single end attaches to the mower tongue with a hitch pin.
