Greens Fertilizer



This 18-9-15 Type-A premium putting greens fertilizer for greens, tees, and close mowed turf contains a patented dispersing granule formula which is ideal for greens use. This granular fertilizer uses slow release nitrogen from plant nutrients derived from urea, methylene ureas, ammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, ferrous sulfate, and manganese sulfate. 5.4% slowly available nitrogen from methylene ureas.

Note: This product contains the micronutrient iron for extra greening and to help prevent iron deficiency. Iron may stain concrete and other surfaces. Remove misapplied product by sweeping or blowing. DO NOT wash off with water.

Directions For Use: Apply only as directed. Apply during the growing season. Turf and putting greens fertilizer 18-9-15 supplies a high level of potassium from potassium sulfate for soils low in this nutrient. Adequate potassium levels help promote root development and resistance to stress.

Use Turf Fertilizer 18-9-15 with Contec DG Technology for greens and tees where a high potassium and phosphate fertilization is desired or when iron and manganese are needed to help correct or prevent deficiencies during the growing season.

Application Rates:

• Low Rate: 2.78 lbs/1000 sq. ft. (0.25 lbs of N/1,000 sq. ft)
• Medium Rate: 5.56 lbs/1000 sq. ft. (0.50 lbs of N/1,000 sq. ft)

For all applications:

• Apply to dry foliage
• Water in after application with a minimum of 0.2 inches to help move particles into turf canopy
• Do not collect clippings for at least one mowing following application to avoid particle pick-up

Cool Season Grasses: (Ie. Bent, Rye, Bluegrass)

• Apply at Medium rate during growing season.
• Use the Low Rate during mid-summer
• Exception: On bentgrass, apply at the Low Rate if temperatures are 85 degrees or above

Warm Season Grasses: (Ie. Bermuda, Zoysia)

• Apply at the Medium Rate during the growing season
• Apply at Low Rate during summer stress

Store Greens Fertilizer in a clean, dry place. Reseal opened bag by folding top down and securing. Use only clean, dry spreaders. Do not leave unused product in spreaders.
