LazyMan Liquid Gold, Aerator, Conditioner, & Dethatcher Directions
Any LazyMan product can be applied at the same time or mixed together and applied. You do not have to wait between applications of any LazyMan product. Any of these products can applied before seeding, after seeding, or after the establishment of vegetation. They can be used on lawns, gardens, flowerbeds, potted plants, etc.
Step 1: Determine how much area you need to spray and put the appropriate amount of LazyMan product you are using in the sprayer. For example, if you are using a hose-end sprayer and applying the Gold product we recommend on the first application to apply 6 ounces/1000 square feet. If using an Ortho dial type sprayer set the flow rate to 2 - 3 ounces per gallon. Follow-up applications can be applied at 3 ounces/1000 square feet.
Step 2: After the appropriate amount of product is put into the sprayer, fill the remainder of the sprayer with water. Evenly start spraying the solution over the 1,000 square foot area until the hose-end sprayer is out of fluid. If using the hose-end sprayer from Outsidepride.com, Inc, you will have applied approximately 20 gallons of water over the 1,000 square feet along with the specified amount of product.
Step 3: If soil is severely compacted, repeat this process in about two weeks followed by another treatment 3 months later. You do not have to worry about over applying these products. It is not like fertilizer where you can burn and even kill the lawn or garden. You can not put on too much of either LazyMan Liquid Gold, Aerator, Conditioner, or Dethatcher.
Note: For large areas, the hose-end sprayer is not practical to use. You can use a hand-held sprayer, a back pack sprayer, or any type of agricultural tank sprayer. When using this type of sprayer, you will not be using much water to apply the product. For example, if you want to cover 5,000 square feet, you would put 15 to 30 ounces of the LazyMan Liquid Gold into the sprayer. You could fill the rest of the sprayer up with water and still only be applying 5 gallons of water if using a large back pack sprayer. In cases like this, the LazyMan products should be applied during rain, or water the area after applying the products for 20 minutes. With any application method, the amount of water used is NOT critical. The product needs to be watered in after applying within a few days ideally, but this can be accomplished by rainfall or irrigation. A good 15 minute rainfall or watering for 15 minutes is plenty of water to do a thorough job if you are not using a hose-end sprayer. If you are applying with a hose-end sprayer, you are applying plenty of water during the application process.
