Ageratum Yellow

Yellow Ageratum (Lonas Inodora) - What a spectacular display of golden-yellow color for the summer! Easily grown from Ageratum flower seed, this unique variety has dense clusters of golden-yellow button-like flowers. Yellow Ageratum is a very good garden performer and withstands all types of weather. This shrub is native to the southwestern Mediterranean region, but is widely adaptable. The flowers are excellent for cutting and have a long vase life. Ageratum flowers also dry nicely.

Sow Ageratum flower seeds directly outdoors after frost danger has passed. Prepare a seedbed by weeding and loosening the soil well. Sow the Ageratum flower seeds on the surface and press the flower seeds into the soil but do not cover them. Keep the flower seeds moist until germination.
