Cineraria flower seeds are easy-to-grow and bloom in shades of blue, red and pink. Cineraria (Jester) blooms grow up to 2 inches in diameter 18 weeks after sowing. Cineraria Jester is a great choice if you want color during the winter.
Cineraria flower seeds require light for germination, so do not cover the seeds. Plant in a container or tray containing a seed starting mix and lightly push into soil. Keep moist and germination should occur in 10-14 days at 70-75 degrees F. Sow between June to October to have flowers during the winter.
Approximately 100 seeds covers 10 square feet.
