Red Hot Poker (Kniphofia Caulescens) - A fabulous wildflower species, Kniphofia Caulescens, is native to the high grassy slopes of South Africa's Drakensberg Mountains. It is a slightly lower growing variety than Kniphofia Uvaria. In its native Africa, you will find Red Hot Poker blooming in mid to late summer, in huge fields that are in a blaze with thousands upon thousands of large coral-red and yellow flower spikes.

Red Hot Poker (Kniphofia Uvaria) - The stately, vertical perennial flower is also known as Torch Lily. It is native to South Africa, and it provides a dramatic display of multi-colored flower spikes that will reach 36 - 48 inches in height on top of long, dagger like leaves. The flowers will start bright red, turn orange and mature to yellow. Hummingbirds love this plant with its tubular florets!
