Saxifraga Arendsii (Rose Robe) - Plant in full sun to light shade in well drained soil. Prefers slightly alkaline soil types. Grows well in containers or as a groundcover. Flowers are good for cutting.

Saxifraga is an easy care perennial that looks great in a rock wall crevice or cascading over the top. Although saxifrages are normally thought of for the rock garden, hybrid mossy saxifrages grow well in garden soils with plenty of humus that won't dry out. You can grow saxifraga as a groundcover in sandy loam soil, on top of a short rock wall, in partial shade, where it thrives.
