Eleusine Coracana (Green Cat) - An attractive ornamental grass producing many green, 'claw' like flowers on sturdy stems throughout summer. A great border plant, and a spectacular cut flower. One of the few ornamental grasses which can also be dried. This unique ornamental grass lasts for weeks in a vase.

Direct sow this ornamental grass outside or in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 68 - 77F. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 14-21 days depending on temperature and moisture.
