Crepis Rubra Pink

Pink Hawksbeard (Crepis Rubra Pink) - What a sweet little flower that performs well with very little care. Grown from Crepis rubra seeds, this little 1 inch annual resembles a pink dandelion. Its common name is Pink Hawksbeard, and it loves a sunny place in the border and puts on a wonderful show! It grows to 12 inches tall and will self-sow its own flower seeds. Pink Hawksbeard is well-suited for the sunny bed or border, and it produces masses of enchanting pink blooms!

Directly sow Hawksbeard seeds outdoors after danger of frost has passed in the spring. Prepare a seedbed by weeding, loosening and raking the soil. Place 2 - 3 Crepis rubra flower seeds on the soil and space the groups of flower seed 12 inches apart. Lightly cover with 1/8 inch of fine soil. Keep the Crepis seeds moist, and after the seedlings have emerged, water the Hawksbeard Crepis Rubru plants regularly throughout the growing season. Use a balanced liquid fertilizer each month. Hawksbeard flowers will self-sow, but they are not invasive. The flowers are known to close in the afternoon.
