Korean Mint

Korean Mint (Agastache Rugosa) - Bring the bees and butterflies to your garden when you start Korean mint seeds and grow this wonderfully fragrant perennial Agastache herb plant. Agastache Rugosa has tall flower spikes that are full of mauve flowers that bloom at different times. The plant usually reaches 36 inches in height and it's popular with the insects with its liquorice-like scent. These flowers are also very nice for cutting and adding to fresh flower arrangements.

Growing Korean mint from seed is easy and rewarding. Agastache Rugosa seeds can be directly started outdoors in a prepared seedbed. Press the herb seeds into the soil but do not cover them. The plant is not picky about the soil, but it does prefer to be in full sun to partial shade.  This popular herb goes by many names including: blue licorice, purple giant hyssop, Indian mint, wrinkled giant hyssop, huo xiang, Chinese patchouli, and Korean hyssop.
