Caraway Herb Seed

Caraway Herb Seed

Enjoy the feathery, Queen Anne's Lace type foliage and flowers in the garden and the spicy seeds in your cooking.

Harvest the caraway herb seeds from the huge white flower heads of the Caraway (Carum Carvi) plant to give a spicy kick to all cabbage dishes (especially sauerkraut), potatoes, rye bread, stews, tomato dishes, and much, much more. A biennial, the rosette of feathery leaves appears the first year, followed by large, white, lacy flowers arising on 2 foot stalks the second year.
