Supreme Bluegrass Blend is a 3-way blend of three very good top performing Kentucky Bluegrass varieties: rhythm, midnight, and appalachian Kentucky Bluegrasses. The three varieties mixed together in one high performing blend give you a dense, lush, dark green turf.

Rhythm - is a new generation Compact-Midnight-type Kentucky bluegrass. Rhythm exhibits darker genetic color and improved resistance to leaf spot diseases when compared with competing varieties. Rhythm also demonstrated better density and winter color than other Midnight types in recent trials at Rutgers University. Rhythm was developed for heat tolerance. It is an excellent choice for areas in the southern edge of the Kentucky bluegrass growing region. It is wear tolerant and repairs itself with rhizomes.

Midnight - Kentucky bluegras is more than capable and this elite variety is ready to show its colors. Midknight is a very dark green and it forms a dense and durable sod. It resists disease and won't take over your mixed species lawn. It has a very fine leaf texture and grows lower and slower than most bluegrasses. You'll enjoy the benefits of this outstanding bluegrass for many years to come.

Appalachian - is a new and improved Kentucky bluegrass variety that is excellent for sod farms, sports fields, landscapers, and retail. Appalachian bluegrass will be up and green in the spring before most other bluegrasses are starting to come out of winter dormancy. The dark green color mixes well with other species to prevent the mottled look. Appalachian is an excellent choice every time. Appalachian was developed with quick establishment in mind. It is wear tolerant and repairs itself by rhizomes. Excellent for usage worldwide where other cool season grasses grow.
