Melica - Ciliata

Melica (Ciliata) - This ornamental grass is marked by narrow, silky white inflorescence which fade to cream as they begin to die off. These blooms last at least month. Melica Ciliata is good for fresh arrangements if cut before fully open. The foliage of this ornamental grass is bluish-green.

Melica - Red Spire

Melica Red Spire (Melica Transsilvanica) - This is yet another fine ornamental grass bearing in early summer long, satiny spires of red spikelets. Useful in arrangements either fresh or dried. The first year of establishment it will grow to approximately 2 1/2 feet.
