Candytuft is a low, semiwoody, densely growing, upright-stemmed, spreading groundcover that reaches 10" tall. Because of these features, evergreen candytuft makes a very effective edging along walkways and terrace margins. It also performs very well in rock gardens or as a general ground cover, particular in beds that are slightly elevated and surrounded by a rock border. Candytuft if very adaptable and requires only one essential element: good drainage. Tolerance to drought is fair, but do require occasional deep watering is required. Prefer full sun to light shade. Some gardeners cut plants back after blooming.
