This mixture of warm and cool-season grasses grows to a height of 12 to 36 inches. It may be planted alone or with a mixture of wildflowers. This mixture contains:

  • 16% Idaho Fescue
  • 40% Bluebunch Wheatgrass
  • 20% Indian Ricegrass
  • 8% Sandberg Bluegrass
  • 8% Alkali Sacaton
  • 4% Galleta Grass
  • 4% Prairie Junegrass
Planting rate: 1/2 lbs/1,000 square feet 4 lbs./acre when planting with wildflowers 10 lbs./acre grass mix only

Planting times: The best time to plant grass mix is spring through summer. Plant in spring or early summer if seeding with wildflowers

Planting range: For use in the Intermountain region below 5,500 feet elevation
