It can be used in the treatment of depression, melancholia, asthma, migraines, insomnia and nervous cough. Some people consider it to be an effective remedy for infected gums, tooth decay, halitosis and tonsillitis. Some people apply Common Vervain to insect bites, sprains and bruises.
