Pansy (Pansy Frizzle Sizzle Burgundy) - Growing Pansies from seed is a great way to ensure that you'll have plenty of showy flowers for the cooler seasons. Burgundy Pansies are dramatic, bold and demand attention whether they are in containers or in the front of borders. The Frizzle Sizzle Pansies are ruffled, large single blooms with a black blotches and yellow eyes. Pansy seeds can be started indoors, lightly covered with soil and kept in darkness until the flower seeds germinate. Transplant out in late summer/early fall for long lasting fall color. Mulch the plants for winter protection and in warmer zones, the Pansy flowers will appear again in early spring along with spring bulbs.
