For new turf, sow 8-10 lbs of ryegrass seed per 1,000 square feet. For over-seeding, use 4-5 lbs per 1,000 square feet. Keep the soil consistently moist by watering lightly and frequently. Plant this perennial Ryegrass seed blend when soil temperature reaches 55 degress in spring up until a minimum of 6 weeks before frost in fall. Mow the new grass when it reaches about 3 inches tall, cutting it down to a height of about 2 inches. This approach ensures a healthy, lush lawn that thrives in any active space.
