How to grow
How To Grow Amaranthus From Seed: Amaranthus seeds can be directly sowed in the garden after frosts have passed. Amaranthus Bicolor is very tolerant of heat, drought and poor soil.
Seeds can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Amaranthus plants perform best in well-draining soils and with limited fertilization. Over fertilization may cause dulling of foliage color.
