Green Coneflower (Echinacea Purpurea Green Twister) - This unique, drought tolerant perennial coneflower has horizontal flower petals, uniform sturdy habit and abundant flowering. Green Twister coneflower blooms in various hues meaning sometimes the green is more pronounced, sometimes it's a soft yellowish hue. Sometimes the halo is very wide and prominent, sometimes it's just a subtle ring of pink right around the central cone. As each bloom matures, the reddish color darkens to more of a rich carmine. All of this variation looks outstanding and the plant grows between 36 - 48 inches tall and 24 inches wide.  Use in the xeriscape flower border and in cut-flower arrangments. Just be sure to leave some spent blooms for finches and overwintering birds, the added movement in your winter garden will keep things interesting. Loved by beneficial pollinators, but rarely touched by deer.
