Mentzelia Lindleyi is a drought-tolerant, fragrant flower. This annual is known as Lindley's Blazing Star, and is found native in California and Arizona, but can be grown across the country.

Plant directly outdoors in late fall or early spring.

Plant in full sun with fast-draining, sandy type soil.

• Sow seeds directly into the garden at a depth of 1/8 inch in the late fall or early spring.
• Presoak seeds overnight before planting 3 - 4 seeds per cell or plant.
• Space plants 15 - 18 inches apart in garden.
