Known as Silver Spurflower, Plectranthus argentatus is a vigorous and stress-tolerant plant that demands little for the beauty it generously offers. It has downy, grey leaves, an upright growth habit and it is well-branched making a great addition to beds, borders and containers. In late summer it also produces spikes of blue flowers. Spur Flower Plectranthus can be grown as a house plant as well. Start Plectranthus seeds indoors several weeks before the end of frost season. These flowers seeds are typically grown for annual foliage plants, but if grown in containers, the Plectranthus can be over-wintered indoors.
