It is also known as Self Heal, and it was believed during the Middle Ages to have healing properties. Knights actually carried leaves of the Self Heal plant with them to use on wounds. Now, Prunella Self Heal is known for being a compact, spreading perennial with prolific blooming abilities! Because of its nature, it makes a perfect ground cover plant, and it takes some light foot traffic as well.

Pruenlla rose begins blooming in June and continues all the way through September. They make an excellent groundcover or border plant. A real value for the money! Thrives in many types of soil. They will grow in full sun to partial shade and attract butterflies.
