When planting seeds, sow seeds directly onto well-drained soil, pressing them gently without covering, as they require light to germinate. Keep the soil evenly moist until sprouts emerge in 21-28 days. Space plants 10-18 inches apart to encourage airflow and robust growth. With full sun and consistent moisture, these blooms flourish, inviting pollinators that bring movement, beauty, and vitality to your garden, fostering a flourishing and dynamic outdoor space.

Poppy (Papaver Rhoeas Angel's Choir) - This award-winning combination of silken-petaled, double poppies features shimmering watercolor shades including cream, apricot, peach, coral, lavender, pink and bicolors and picotees. It took breeders years to develop these lustrous soft colors. Angel’s Choir poppies are exquisite in the garden as the blossoms sway gracefully on nodding 3 foot tall stems above frothy gray-green foliage. These easy-to-grow and irresistible flowers are the perfect way to welcome the joys of spring.

Angel's Choir is a Papaver rhoeas cultivar, which is also known as the common poppy, corn poppy, field poppy, or Flanders poppy. The plant has a clumping, spreading habit and is best displayed when grouped or massed in borders or beds.

Easily grown from seed and extremely low maintenance, 'Angel's Choir' Poppy prefers full sun and organically rich, medium moisture, well-drained soils. It is intolerant of drought and overly wet, poorly drained soils. Growing best in cool summer climates, it does not perform well in high heat and humidity and may require some light afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Deadheading spent flowers keeps the poppy blooming. The flowers freely self-seed in suitable conditions, naturalizing and returning from year to year, performing more like a perennial than an annual. Deer and rabbit tend to leave papaver rhoeas alone.
